About Forsyth County Court Records

Court records in Forsyth County, Georgia live across several offices. The Clerk of Superior, State & Juvenile Courts holds the trial court records. Probate Court keeps wills, estates, and marriage licenses. Magistrate Court runs warrants and small claims. The Sheriff's Office runs the jail roster. Finding the right office on the first try is half the battle. This site puts the right portal, address, and phone number in one place so visitors do not bounce between Cumming government websites.

Why We Built This Site

Georgia gives the public broad access to court records under the Open Records Act and Uniform Superior Court Rule 21. The hard part is figuring out which office in Forsyth County holds the file you want. The Clerk of Superior, State & Juvenile Courts handles Superior, State, and Juvenile records together at 101 East Courthouse Square. Probate Court runs wills, estates, marriage licenses, and weapons-carry licenses out of the courthouse annex. Magistrate Court handles small civil claims, dispossessory, and warrants from a separate building on Tribble Gap Road. The Sheriff's Office manages the jail roster, bookings, and the Wanted Persons list. Add the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for criminal history restriction and the federal Northern District of Georgia for federal cases, and the picture gets crowded fast. This site pulls together contact details, search portals, fee schedules, and request steps for each of these offices.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to Forsyth County, the State of Georgia, the Clerk of Court, the Sheriff's Office, the District Attorney, or any state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:

  • We cannot file paperwork or send records requests on your behalf.
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any court document, marriage certificate, or vital record.
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific Forsyth County case applies to you.
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now.

Only the issuing Forsyth County court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results. For free official Forsyth County search, the Clerk's Case Search page and the Sheriff's P2C inmate inquiry are the official routes.
